We are devoted to clear communication between the designer, workroom and installer to reach the ultimate goal of completely satisfying the client and providing them with soft furnishings for their homes that will make their friends say “WOW! Catherine is a highly accomplished professional with a lifetime of sewing experience as well as extensive expert training. She is a graduate of the Advance Career Professional Program at the Custom Home Furnishings School in Swannanoa, North Carolina and is a Certified Workroom Professional and a Window Fashions Career Professional.
Mark has an extensive background in retail business and expert training in installation. He is a graduate of the Career Professional Program at the Custom Home Furnishings School in Swannanoa, North Carolina and is a Hunter Douglas Certified Professional Installer.

Silk Mountain Creations, Inc. is dedicated to providing quality products with outstanding details. To reach that end, we spend time keeping up with current colors, home furnishing styles, and fabrication techniques. Our memberships in the Custom Home Furnishings network and the Window Coverings Association of America provide educational opportunities and important contacts with colleagues.
We strive to achieve the highest levels of proficiency in our drapery fabrication. We have completed certification as a Custom Home Furnishings Career Professional in Window Coverings, Advanced Window Coverings, Installation, Bed Coverings and Pillows, and Cornices. We participate in the Window Fashions Certification Program, which requires ongoing education in our field. We search out new knowledge in our field by attending classes at the Custom Home Furnishings Academy , educational seminars , WCAA chapter meetings , and workroom association meetings as well as subscribing to trade and design journals. Our customers can be assured that they will be treated in a respectful way and provided with home furnishings they will be proud of for many years.
